Good Mornings and Valentines Parties

I took these pics this morning when trying to wake up Gracie for school. I had a little help from Bella and Lucca!

These are Danny and Gracies Valentine mail boxes for school. We made them last night and some pink rice krispie treats! They took some to school for Aunt Michele, Uncle Aadam, Aaron, and Emily. Gracie wants to save some for Megs and Susan when they come out. :) I told her we could make them their own special batch when they move here. She's pretty funny. Mitch and I will be heading out to their parties this afternoon.

Wish Mitch luck today! He's auditioning for the choir group at school called Encore. He's my busy little bumble bee. Have a great day today!

Filters, Babies, and Batting Cages

The filter is out! Everything went great. I was feeling pretty yucky yesterday, but feel great today. My neck still hurts a bit but nothing a little tylenol can't handle. I'll be back to work next week. A little bitter sweet. Great to get back, sad to leave the babies....

Here are a couple pics of Bella. We were trying to get some that were like the professional black and whites, didn't quite turn out the way I was hoping. No biggie! I still love them. Mitch is holding her in the two with the "hands" :)

The top picture is Mitch and his friend RJ. We went to the batting cages on Sunday because try outs are coming up. Send Mitch all your good luck thoughts for me!!!

Happy Birthday Mom! Thank you for always being the amazing and wonderful woman you are. I love this picture of you dancing with your many grandchildren :D. As Mitchell likes to say "my grandma ROCKS!" You do rock mom!

Happy Birthday to my most wonderful Grandpa as well! I love this picture of you. It reminds me of all the great memories I have of you. I feel so lucky to have you in my life. I love you!

Another day....another tooth

I do believe Gracie is trying to break the tooth fairies bank! Another one came out tonight at dinner. So she is now missing 4 teeth. I love the big toothless grins! Here are a few pics I took tonight. It's the end of the day and everyone is looking a little messy...LOL

On My Way...

I feel like I'm now on my way to a good recovery. I've been up and out walking on my leg and no longer use the walker or a cane. That feels great! Today I will be challenging the stairs. I need to get down there and see if the laundry is OK. I think Cesar and Mitch have been changing it out enough to keep it to a minimum. We'll see.

My Mother in law is here visiting from Peru. She's enjoying the kids and making wonderful food for us to eat. :) She will be staying with us through June.

Bella is growing so big already! Her cheeks are getting fat, she's smiling a little more everyday, and she's bright eyed and awake during the day. ( at night too...)

Lucca gets more and more funny everyday. He loves to be silly and play outside.

Gracie lost another tooth and it looks like another one is about to fall out! She'll be missing 4 when this last one comes out.

Danny just got some new shoes and boy they sure make him run fast! I love that they still think it's all about the shoe making them run fast.

Mitch is doing well in school. He's now working the time clock for his high school basketball teams. He's taking after Grandpa. He's also getting ready for baseball and the spring concert. He's also working the Awana Olympics for the next 5 weeks at church. He's busy, busy, busy....

Cesar is working hard as always, going to school, and trying to take care of all of us at home. We went and played BINGO for the first time on Friday night. It was very interesting. It was almost like trespassing. You could tell we were the outsiders. Very weird vibe. But fun none the less.

I'm off to Walmart and Savers. Hope you all have a great week!

Happy Birthday Mitch and Thank you

Happy Birthday to my Sweet Mitchell! 15 years already. I love you so much! I am lucky and proud to be your Mom. Have fun at the 14ers with Grandma and Grandpa!

Thank you to everyone for all the prayers and well wishes during these last couple of weeks. It's been a long recovery already. For those of you who do not know, I was hospitalized for a blood clot that began just below my belly button and ran the full length of my left leg. Needless to say when I went into the ER they kept me. I then spent the week having a procedure done to remove the majority of the clot. It was very painful.

Thank you especially to Mom who, as always, jumped in and helped my family at the first sign of trouble. She has been taking care of the kids for two weeks now. Taking on homework, driving to and from school, to and from dr. appts., breakfast, lunch, dinner, dogs, laundry, dishes, and anything that comes up. Thank you Mom. I l ove you so much.

Well, I need to run. Physical Therapy will be here in a few minutes to help me on my way. Thank you again to everyone!

Build a Bear

Here are a few pics from Build a Bear. Grandma gave Danny and Gracie gift cards for Christmas so we went on New Years Eve to have some family time. Thanks Grandma!

The kids had a great time and were able to take a little train ride around the mall when we left the store.

Well, the kids vacation is over and it's back to school tomorrow. The kids are excited to see their friends again, and I'm sure they're looking forward to homework again! LoL Hope your new year is going great!
